Brain Wave Generator

Link to the website with information

Download

EEG (Electroencephalography) technology is used to measure brain's electrical vibrations from the surface of the scalp. The resulting EEG pattern will contain frequency elements mainly below 30Hz. The frequencies are categorized into four states as follows:

State. Frequency range. State of mind
Delta 0.5Hz - 4Hz-> Deep sleep
Theta 4Hz - 8Hz-> Drowsiness (also first stage of sleep)
Alpha 8Hz - 14Hz-> Relaxed but alert
Beta 14Hz - 30Hz-> Highly alert and focused

The dominant frequency in the EEG pattern determines what shall be called the current state of the brain. If the amplitude of the alpha range frequencies is highest, then the brain is said to be in the alpha stage. Note, that other frequencies still exist and it is impossible to give any "exact frequency your brain is operating on". However, later references to the brain states use the simplification of assuming that such a single frequency exists.

If external stimulus is applied to the brain, it becomes possible to entrain the brain frequency from one stage to another. For example, if a person is in beta stage (highly alert) and a stimulus of 10Hz is applied to his/her brain for some time, the brain frequency is likely to change towards the applied stimulus. The effect will be relaxing to the person. This phenomenon is also called frequency following response.

If the left ear is presented with a steady tone of 500Hz and the right ear a steady tone of 510Hz, these two tones combine in the brain. The difference, 10Hz, is perceived by the brain and is a very effective stimulus for brainwave entrainment. This 10Hz is formed entirely by the brain. When using stereo headphones, the left and right sounds do not mix together until in your brain. The frequency difference, when perceived by brain this way, is called a binaural beat.

The User Illusion

This is a Simulation - The NY Times

"It took a century for scientists to realize fully what was wrong with this picture. In ''The User Illusion: Cutting Consciousness Down to Size,'' the Danish science writer Tor Norretranders uses the story to launch an all-out assault on the worshipful place so often awarded to human awareness. Consciousness is not only powerless to overcome the entropic slide, he says, but incapable of giving more than the roughest sense of what is going on around us. The world as it appears is a paltry simulation. And the biggest illusion is that we trick ourselves into believing we experience the world's full glory."

The User Illusion, by Tor Norretranders

"Norretranders postulates that most of the work is done at a subconscious level. Nothing too surprising, there. But what was interesting to me was the approach he used. In his theory, the whole point of the subconscious parts of the brain is to reduce the information flow into and out of the brain down to a rate which our feeble 20 bits/sec consciousness can handle. He points out that we perceive about 12 million bits/second (10 million from vision, 1 million from touch, and the rest scattered among the other senses). That's an enormous amount of information to process. But when we look around, we don't see 10 million pixels. Looking from my computer chair, I see my computer, my desk, the windows of the room, etc. He calls this phenomenon chunking information into symbols. To quote him, "symbols are the Trojan horses by which we smuggle bits into our consciousness."

Sleep Paralysis, Astral Projection (OOBE) and other Lucid Dreamstates

Sleep Paralysis

"Have you ever felt like you were awake but unable to move? You might have even felt afraid but could not call for help? This condition is called sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis may leave you feeling frightened, especially if you also see or hear things that aren't really there. Sleep paralysis may happen only once, or you may have it frequently -- even several times a night. The good news: sleep paralysis is not considered a dangerous health problem."

Astral Projection and OOBE wiki page

"Astral projection (or astral travel) is an esoteric interpretation of any form of out-of-body experience (OOBE) that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it. Astral projection or travel denotes the astral body leaving the physical body to travel in the astral plane."

Lucid Dream wiki page

"A lucid dream is a dream in which the sleeper is aware that he or she is dreaming. When the dreamer is lucid, he or she can actively participate in and often manipulate the imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreams can seem extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream."

When you sleep, your brain never falls asleep. You just go in and out of sleep cycles that vary your level of awareness. Your brain goes through these different sleep cycles that are measured in Hertz (Hz). When you experience Sleep Paralysis, you find yourself aware in an aware state that is just as real as a physical waking state. But the fact remains, if anyone were to look at you while SP was happening, they would see you comfortably asleep.

The key is to control your fear of Sleep Paralysis. It is the doorway to Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection (OOBE). When you go OOBE, you are NOT actually leaving your body. That is an illusion. Everything that is happening, is happening in your head as you sleep. The experience is VERY real, and very vivid if you do it right.

The best way to learn how to do any of this stuff, is through meditation or light sleep. Catnaps while sitting up work great. But there's alot of different ways to experience these states of mind. The key is learning to control them. Once you do that, you are pretty much limited only by your own fears. - Toby

Boltzmann's brains, Entropy and Consciousness out of chaos

Big Brain Theory: Have Cosmologists Lost Theirs?

"It could be the weirdest and most embarrassing prediction in the history of cosmology, if not science.

If true, it would mean that you yourself reading this article are more likely to be some momentary fluctuation in a field of matter and energy out in space than a person with a real past born through billions of years of evolution in an orderly star-spangled cosmos. Your memories and the world you think you see around you are illusions."

If you step outside commonly accepted cultural ideas regarding the existence of the Universe, you tend to run into some major problems. One of those problems is 4 of the most fundamental laws of Physics; The Laws of Thermodynamics. The word "Thermodynamics" from the Greek meaning "heat" and dynamics, meaning "power". It's the measure of order within a system. Our universe is a structured system that is constantly moving towards higher states of disorder. That would mean that our Universe started at a very LOW state of entropy/order, and is moving towards HIGHER states as time moves forward. The Universe is constantly unraveling itself out of a state of low and structured Entropy.

But if that's the case, then how could our Universe start in a very low and highly organized state born out of chaotic and random process? Chaos is disorganization. Yet, logic would say that we experience a somewhat ordered state of existence at our level. Things make sense to us in order for us to make theories regarding the origins of our Universe and our daily experience as human beings.

Lungless "Worm" found living on land

National Geographic article

"A new amphibian species can survive on land with no nostrils, lungs, or legs, say researchers who discovered the bizarre beast.

The creature, found in Guyana, is part of the wormlike group of amphibians known as caecilians. Only one other caecilian species is known to live without lungs."

These things are sooooo cool. One of weirdest creatures on earth. Been fascinated by them since I was a kid, and this news just reaffirms my love for these things.

Are You Living In a Computer Simulation?

Nick Bostroms simulation argument

"This paper argues that at least one of the following propositions is true: (1) the human species is very likely to go extinct before reaching a “posthuman” stage; (2) any posthuman civilization is extremely unlikely to run a significant number of simulations of their evolutionary history (or variations thereof); (3) we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation. It follows that the belief that there is a significant chance that we will one day become posthumans who run ancestor-simulations is false, unless we are currently living in a simulation."

God is a machine - wired magazine

"The spooky nature of material things is not new. Once science examined matter below the level of fleeting quarks and muons, it knew the world was incorporeal. What could be less substantial than a realm built out of waves of quantum probabilities? And what could be weirder? Digital physics is both. It suggests that those strange and insubstantial quantum wavicles, along with everything else in the universe, are themselves made of nothing but 1s and 0s. The physical world itself is digital."

The Sliding Rocks of Racetrack Playa

The Sliding Rocks of Racetrack Playa from Geology.com

"One of the most interesting mysteries of Death Valley National Park is the sliding rocks at Racetrack Playa (a playa is a dry lake bed). These rocks can be found on the floor of the playa with long trails behind them. Somehow these rocks slide across the playa, cutting a furrow in the sediment as they move.

Some of these rocks weigh several hundred pounds. That makes the question: "How do they move?" a very challenging one.

The truth: No one knows for sure exactly how these rocks move - although a few people have come up with some pretty good explanations. The reason why their movement remains a mystery: No one has ever seen them in motion."

A cool satellite, planetary body and space object tracker.

Q. Why are satellites not visible in the middle of the night?

A. Satellites are only visible when they are lit by the sun, but the observer on the ground is already in darkness. These conditions are met only when the sun is below the observer's horizon, but not too far down or the satellites themselves are also in the earth's shadow. So normally, satellites are only visible a few hours after sunset, or before sunrise. In the middle of the night the sun is simply too far below the horizon to light them. In summer however, especially at latitudes far north or south, the sun is never too far down, even at midnight, and satellites can be seen the whole night through.

So....look up at the sky in the middle of the night sometime. Count the moving lights and remember, they are NOT satellites. - Toby

CERN, the LHC and the future of everything we know as "real"

CERN in a nutshell

"CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is one of the world’s largest and most respected centres for scientific research. Its business is fundamental physics, finding out what the Universe is made of and how it works. At CERN, the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments are used to study the basic constituents of matter — the fundamental particles. By studying what happens when these particles collide, physicists learn about the laws of Nature."

A gateway to the Universe.

"Specialist facilities that would otherwise be difficult or impossible for individual nations to build include advanced particle accelerators, such as the Large Hadron Collider, and facilities for the production of exotic forms of matter, including antimatter."

Our understanding of the Universe is about to change.

"The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is a gigantic scientific instrument near Geneva, where it spans the border between Switzerland and France about 100 m underground. It is a particle accelerator used by physicists to study the smallest known particles – the fundamental building blocks of all things. It will revolutionize our understanding, from the minuscule world deep within atoms to the vastness of the Universe."

The most powerful supercomputer system in the world

"The data recorded by each of the big experiments at the LHC will fill around 100 000 dual layer DVDs every year. To allow the thousands of scientists scattered around the globe to collaborate on the analysis over the next 15 years (the estimated lifetime of the LHC), tens of thousands of computers located around the world are being harnessed in a distributed computing network called the Grid."

CMS: Compact Muon Solenoid

"The CMS detector is built around a huge solenoid magnet. This takes the form of a cylindrical coil of superconducting cable that generates a magnetic field of 4 teslas, about 100 000 times that of the Earth. The magnetic field is confined by a steel 'yoke' that forms the bulk of the detector's weight of 12 500 tonnes. An unusual feature of the CMS detector is that instead of being built in-situ underground, like the other giant detectors of the LHC experiments, it was constructed on the surface, before being lowered underground in 15 sections and reassembled.

Secret dimensions

"Some string theorists have taken this idea further to explain a mystery of gravity that has perplexed physicists for some time – why is gravity so much weaker than the other fundamental forces? Does its carrier, the graviton, exist and where? The idea is that we do not feel gravity’s full effect in the everyday world. Gravity may appear weak only because its force is being shared with other spatial dimensions.

To find out whether these ideas are just products of wild imaginations or an incredible leap in understanding will require experimental evidence. But how?

High-energy experiments could prise open the inconspicuous dimensions just enough to allow particles to move between the normal 3D world and other dimensions. This could be manifest in the sudden disappearance of a particle into a hidden dimension, or the unexpected appearance of a particle in an experiment. Who knows where such a discovery could lead!"

McKenna: "By creating art"

What does Chaos mean?

I found this article on Chaos today that made me think a bit; Click to read article. The article says; "Even tiny, easily overlooked events can completely change the behavior of a complex system, to the point where there is no apparent order to most natural systems we deal with in everyday life. This may be a little confusing because most people associate order with macro-events (events that are obvious, and noticeable to our senses), as opposed to micro-events that are outside the realm of what we sense and are aware of as Human Beings. Basically, Chaos at the top level is highly organized. The "top level" being our reality (physical-universe) as one system, and everything underneath that organized system, being a highly chaotic system of sub-sets. For example, the Mandelbrot-set is one organized mathematical equation (rule-set) at the top-level, but everything underneath that one mathematical equation as a sub-set, is highly disorganized and chaotic:

The Mandelbrot set is a set of points in the complex plane, the boundary of which forms a fractal.

-The top-level rule-set being the organized math (M-set).
-The sub-level rule-set being chaos (J-set).

You can see the macro-pattern (M-set) show up many times on the zoom-in on the J-set, but the M-set never repeats itself. Theoretically, this fractal will go on for infinity.

If we model our Universe as one giant fractal, then our top-level (M-set, our physics) is HIGHLY organized and fundamentally simple. But every event underneath those rules, are chaotic due to even the smallest and most un-noticable event. Whatever that event may be. Even at the quantum level, events will effect things on a scale that can be sensed and observed, even though the quantum-events (Entanglement for example) lay outside the realm of our human perception. This is called The Butterfly Effect; The butterfly effect is a phrase that encapsulates the more technical notion of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in chaos theory. Small variations of the initial condition of a dynamical system may produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system. This is sometimes presented as esoteric behavior, but can be exhibited by very simple systems: for example, a ball placed at the crest of a hill might roll into any of several valleys depending on slight differences in initial position. Quantum chaos is the study of the butterfly effect in semi-classical physics and quantum mechanics.

In the complex reality system that we live in, nothing is a guarantee and nothing is the same at the most fundamental level. Chaotic change drives us forward, even though we are un-aware of its implications. We tend to forget our real place in the hierarchical structure that regulates a perceived order in government, culture, and our every day lives as individuals. We are just not aware that what we do as individuals, fundamentally affects everything else, even though that effect is chaotic. We do not have control over the outcome, we just have an individual perception of the outcome. This picture sums up what I am trying to say.

Yup, the Moon has alot of water on it

It's Official: Water Found on the Moon

"Combined, the findings show that not only is the moon hydrated, the process that makes it so is a dynamic one that is driven by the daily changes in solar radiation hitting any given spot on the surface.

The sun might also have something to do with how the water got there.

There are potentially two types of water on the moon: that brought from outside sources, such as water-bearing comets striking the surface, or that that originates on the moon.

This second, endogenic, source is thought to possibly come from the interaction of the solar wind with moon rocks and soils.

The rocks and regolith that make up the lunar surface are about 45 percent oxygen (combined with other elements as mostly silicate minerals). The solar wind — the constant stream of charged particles emitted by the sun — are mostly protons, or positively charged hydrogen atoms.

If the charged hydrogens, which are traveling at one-third the speed of light, hit the lunar surface with enough force, they break apart oxygen bonds in soil materials, Taylor, the M3 team member suspects. Where free oxygen and hydrogen exist, there is a high chance that trace amounts of water will form.

The various study researchers also suggest that the daily dehydration and rehydration of the trace water across the surface could lead to the migration of hydroxyl and hydrogen towards the poles where it can accumulate in the cold traps of the permanently shadowed regions."

The "Stoned Ape" Theory

Terence McKenna's "Stoned Ape" Theory of Human Evolution

"Perhaps the most intriguing of Terence McKenna's fascinating theories and observations is his explanation for the origin of the human mind and human culture.

To summarize: McKenna theorizes that as the North African jungles receded toward the end of the most recent ice age, giving way to grasslands, a branch of our tree-dwelling primate ancestors left the branches and took up a life out in the open -- following around herds of ungulates, nibbling what they could along the way.

Among the new items in their diet were psilocybin-containing mushrooms growing in the dung of these ungulate herds. The changes caused by the introduction of this drug to the primate diet were many -- McKenna theorizes, for instance, that synesthesia (the blurring of boundaries between the senses) caused by psilocybin led to the development of spoken language: the ability to form pictures in another person's mind through the use of vocal sounds.

About 12,000 years ago, further climate changes removed the mushroom from the human diet, resulting in a new set of profound changes in our species as we reverted to pre-mushroomed and frankly brutal primate social structures that had been modified and/or repressed by frequent consumption of psilocybin.

McKenna's theory has great appeal and intuitive strength, but it is necessarily based on a great deal of supposition interpolating between the few fragmentary facts we know about hominid and early human history. In addition, because McKenna (who describes himself as "an explorer, not a scientist") is also a proponent of much wilder suppositions, such as his "Timewave Zero" theory, his more reasonable theories are usually disregarded by the very scientists whose informed criticism is crucial for their development.

This page links to resources that should help to fill in some of the gaps with data from the sciences and with other theories and myths about human origins."

Were Dinosaurs Warm-Blooded endotherms?

Where Do We Go From Here?

The isotopes in their bones suggest that dinosaurs were warmblooded

"One of the fiercer debates among palentologists (scientists who study fossils) has focused on wether or not dinosaurs were “warm blooded.” Humans like you and I are said to be warm blooded because we maintain a relatively constant body temperature higher than the surrounding air. A lizard, by contrast, adopts the temperature of its surroundings and is said to be cold blooded.

There are other more formal terms that professional biologists use to talk about body temperature, like homeotherm, endotherm, and pokliotherm, but the basic sense of the issue is clear: warm blooded animals like mammals keep their body temperature constant, while cold blooded ones like reptiles don’t."

...I think it makes more sense that they were endothermic mammals, as opposed to cold-blooded reptiles. But this idea is going to have to gain more momentum before old ideas regarding Dinosaurs are let go. - Toby

The Watchers

With the release of the movie "The 4th Kind", more and more people are becoming aware of reports of Alien abductions. Though there's still alot of unknowns regarding this phenomena in the mainstream, alot of people have done some great freelance research into abduction reports. Dr Raymond Folwer wrote the book "The Watchers" about Betty Andreasson's multiple abduction cases, as well as his own. Under hypnoses, Bettey vividly reported hundreds of times that she was abducted by beings. The book is written in a very subjective way that doesn't make assumptions where it doesn't have to. He does assume that time is an Illusion, and alot of abduction cases are VERY real to the abductees. In some cases he finds physical proof of abductions including implants and visible scratches. I am currently reading it and it's very, very interesting. - Toby

Project Stargate: The U.S. Army/CIA ("Psychic Spy") remote viewing program

Project STARGATE wiki page

Project STARGATE

"STAR GATE was one of a number of "remote viewing programs" conducted under a variety of code names, including SUN STREAK, GRILL FLAME, and CENTER LANE by DIA and INSCOM, and SCANATE by CIA. These efforts were initiated to assess foreign programs in the field; contract for basic research into the the phenomenon; and to evaluate controlled remote viewing as an intelligence tool.

The program consisted of two separate activities. An operational unit employed remote viewers to train and perform remote viewing intelligence-gathering. The research program was maintained separately from the operational unit.

This effort was initiated in response to CIA concerns about reported Soviets investigations of psychic phenomena. Between 1969 and 1971, US intelligence sources concluded that the Soviet Union was engaged in "psychotronic" research. By 1970, it was suggested that the Soviets were spending approximately 60 million rubles per year on it, and over 300 million by 1975. The money and personnel devoted to Soviet psychotronics suggested that they had achieved breakthroughs, even though the matter was considered speculative, controversial and "fringy".

Declassified remote viewing report that may have predicted the attacks on the Twin Towers in 1987.

"If closed timelike lines exist, then a type of superluminal communication must also exist. Applying the same analysis as I did in the case of time travel, one finds that the 'superluminal' signals can emerge in another universe. I have not investigated the matter further, but I conjecture that, as I proved in the time travel case, they *must* emerge in another universe, at least in a wide class of interesting cases." -- Professor David Deutsch, Oxford U.

Mental images are like pictures

Discoverh TECH slideshow
"There's a big debate about what happens in our brain when we imagine visual items, like pictures, for example. Some people think our brains perceive visual images pictorially, using a part of the brain known for processing simple visual features.

Other people think our brains perceive visual stimuli symbolically, using the region of the brain known for processing words and language.

Joel Pearson and his team from Vanderbilt University have found strong evidence suggesting that our brains experience mental images as if they were pictures.

Pearson conducted this experiment and some related studies on more than 11 participants. In the end, the researchers discovered that if a person imagined one of the two patterns, that's the pattern he or she tended to see. "Hence mental imagery dictates what you will see later in time," says Pearson.

Loss of creativity, democracy
Loss of our precious insanity

The LHC and it's face-off with "The God Particle" (The Higgs Boson).

The Collider, the Particle and a Theory About Fate

The LHC is under attack by the particle it is trying to discover

Unless you're a physicist, you probably have ZERO clue as the what the Large Hadron Collider really does. Most who think they do, say it's to create mini-black holes. Wrong. The main goal of the LHC is to try and find physical proof of sub-atomic particles that exist only in theory. One of those particles is the Higgs Boson. It is called the "god particle", because theoretically one Higgs particle can be in every state of the Universe, at any given moment in time. In order for everything to work by the standard model, the Higgs MUST mathematically exist.

But some physicists say that we will not be able to ever find proof of it because any proof of it in the future, cancels itself out in the past based on it's super destructive and un-predictable nature. But without physical proof, the particle isn't real. Math can describe it, but what is it fundamentally? Like Einstein said “For those of us who believe in physics, this separation between past, present and future is only an illusion.”. So basically, if the the Higgs Boson DOES exist in the past, present and future at the same time, it is in a way preventing us limited beings from finding it. For example, maybe the reason is because we would use it to make insane weapons 10000x bigger than our largest nuclear weapon. Therefore the possible future where we destroy ourselves, is coming back to the now, and preventing us from finding the Higgs.

But then again, if the past, present and future exist at the same time, then only now exists, and the now is preventing us from finding the particle.

Duh.

Physicist David Bohm on perception

"The notion that all these fragments is separately existent is evidently an illusion, and this illusion cannot do other than lead to endless conflict and confusion. Indeed, the attempt to live according to the notion that the fragments are really separate is, in essence, what has led to the growing series of extremely urgent crises that is confronting us today. Thus, as is now well known, this way of life has brought about pollution, destruction of the balance of nature, over-population, world-wide economic and political disorder and the creation of an overall environment that is neither physically nor mentally healthy for most of the people who live in it. Individually there has developed a widespread feeling of helplessness and despair, in the face of what seems to be an overwhelming mass of disparate social forces, going beyond the control and even the comprehension of the human beings who are caught up in it". - David Bohm, Wholeness and the Implicate Order, 1980.

Programming the Universe

Wired magazine interview with Seth Lloyd.

WIRED: "You seem to be saying that the concept of the universe as one huge quantum computer is not just a metaphor - it's real".
Lloyd: "Absolutely. Atoms and electrons are bits. Atomic collisions are "ops." Machine language is the laws of physics. The universe is a quantum computer".

Suppressed Science

To quote Physicist Niels Bohr: "It is wrong to think that the task of physics is to find out how Nature is. Physics concerns what we say about Nature". He was trying to say that consensus mainstream science, which forms alot of our world-views and belief systems regarding our reality, will always fail to explain the data when it tries to objectify the subjective using intellectual terminology.

Western Science thrives on the idea that the human intellect has some sort of great clue on how to properly control their inside and outside environment (mind and matter). The fact is, that humans use their intellect to go against the natural flow of life and nature. Those who question this, are shunned and told off and "insane" and un-scientific. Money is a huge factor in mainstream science. The more money that is involved, the less creativity and real progressive ideas are brought forth. Western science, along with Western religion, will always suppress those who oppose a safe and objective understanding of reality. But the fact remains, that science is FAR from what is just accepted in the consensus mainstream. There is a huge underground of scientists who are truly open-minded to the data, but skeptical of the answers. This threatens herd-based belief systems, because it causes individuals to truly think outside social norms regarding views of reality.

Science should not not be known by its by work in social "progress", medical progress and technological advantage; it should be represented by people who will not suppress the data as it comes in by replacing it with simple terminology that appeases those who will believe anything.

Suppressed Science is not true science.

"Textbooks present science as a noble search for truth, in which progress depends on questioning established ideas. But for many scientists, this is a cruel myth. They know from bitter experience that disagreeing with the dominant view is dangerous - especially when that view is backed by powerful interest groups. Call it suppression of intellectual dissent. The usual pattern is that someone does research or speaks out in a way that threatens a powerful interest group, typically a government, industry or professional body. As a result, representatives of that group attack the critic's ideas or the critic personally-by censoring writing, blocking publications, denying appointments or promotions, withdrawing research grants, taking legal actions, harassing, blacklisting, spreading rumors."

The Reality Tests

A team of Physicists in Vienna has devised experiments that may answer one of the enduring riddles of science: Do we create the world by just looking at it?

"Most of us would agree that there exists a world outside our minds. At the classical level of our perceptions, this belief is almost certainly correct. If your couch is blue, you will observe it as such whether drunk, in high spirits, or depressed; the color is surely independent of the majority of your mental states. If you discovered your couch were suddenly red, you could be sure there was a cause. The classical world is real, and not only in your head. Solipsism hasn’t really been a viable philosophical doctrine for decades, if not centuries.

But none of us perceives the world as it exists fundamentally. We do not observe the tiniest bits of matter, nor the forces that move them, individually through our senses. We evolved to experience the world in bulk, our faculties registering the net effect of trillions upon trillions of particles or atoms moving in concert. We are crude measurers. So divorced are we from the activity beneath our experience that physicists became relatively assured of the existence of atoms only about a century ago.

Physicists attribute a fundamental reality to what they do not directly perceive".

Thomas Campbell and the Theory of Everything

Tomas Campbell is a Nuclear Physicist and does applied physics for NASA in developing missile defense systems. He is the author of the "My Big Toe" (Theory of Everything) trilogy. His base theory is that our seemingly physical reality, is a virtual reality. At the core of our physical reality, everything is just information/data, and not fundamentally physical and *out there" as we perceive it. He did extensive work with the Monroe Institute in exploring other state of human consciousness and perception. His MBT trilogy covers everything we everything we experience as human beings. From religion to philosophy, from quantum mechanics to non-physical beings.

THOMAS CAMPBELL AND THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

"We live at the dawn of a potentially explosive evolutionary and cultural transition. The pace of change is dramatically accelerating. Ahead lays a unique and powerful potential for an incredibly accelerated progression, regression, or self-destruction. After 250 years of the Industrial Age comes the genetics engineering, cloning, psychotropic drug, computer networked communications, digital information age - all at once!

The point is: Once a complex system is capable of directly programming (intentionally changing) itself, the pace of evolution dramatically accelerates. The intellect, aided by the products of its increasing awareness (digital and other technology), replaces random mutation and natural selection as the primary driver; consequently, evolution accelerates from a very slow paced process to an ultra-fast one."
